***SOLD*** XT660Z Tenere
For Sale - 2010 Yamaha XT660Z, 8600 miles, well cared for, regularly serviced and in near perfect condition with just a few minor scrapes on the bar ends and mirrors from the garage wall.
I’ve owned this bike for seven years and done about 7500 miles of relaxed fair weather touring on it. I was thinking of using it for the TET and spec’d it up for that, but have decided it’s a bit too nice for me to go dropping all over the place. I’ve just bought a BMW Xchallenge for the TET and so it’s time to sell the Tenere.
• First Registered 24 Sept 2010 (60 plate)
• Three owners including me
• Last change of owner August 2012
• Three keys including red one.
• 12 months MOT
• New chain and sprockets 500 miles ago
• Oil & filter changed every spring. Last done 1500 miles ago.
• Mitas E07 front and rear tyres – both about 25% worn so good for another 5000+ miles
• Yuasa Battery - showing 12.9V
• Fuel consumption averaging 70 mpg
The selling price of the bike includes about £1900 of accessories and extras:
• Leo Vince SBK Evo II exhausts (£470)
• DNA Stage 2 Airbox cover TC-Y6E08-S2 (£42)
• DNA Air Filter R-Y6308-01 (£46)
• DNA Stage 1 air restrictor insert TCI-Y6E08-S1 – not currently fitted (£8)
• Kev fuel mod and O2 controller (£140)
• Touratech large luggage rack (£70)
• Touratech bar risers – not currently fitted (£55)
• Heavy Duties Pannier Frames (£115)
• Adventure Spec bash plate (£220)
• Pivot Pegz Mk3 (£160)
• USB socket and Satnav connector wired to main switch (£10)
• Osram Nightbreaker Plus H7 bulbs (£12)
• KTM handguards/deflectors (£50)
• Billet ‘shorty’ adjustable span brake and clutch levers (£30)
• Spare/backup clutch cable – fitted but new/unused (£15)
• Yamaha centre stand (£180)
• R&G fork protector bungs (£35)
• Fender Extender (£20)
• Givi tankbag adapter ring (£12)
• Pyramid Hugger – not currently fitted (£115)
• Metal Mule rear suspension lowering links – not currently fitted (£35)
• Spare OE screen – not currently fitted (£25)
• NGK Iridium spark plug – new/unused (£7)
• Oil filter – new/unused (£7)
• 16T front & 48T rear sprockets – new/unused (£25)
• Haynes manual (£16)
The sale also includes all the original parts needed to restore the bike to standard show room spec (so you could refit these and ebay any unwanted aftermarket parts):
• OE exhaust + covers
• OE brake & clutch levers
• OE air filter + snorkel
• OE bash plate
• OE foot pegs
I also have some Metal Mule series 1 38 litre panniers. I’ve used these a lot with a 650 Dakar. Although they’ve got a few war wounds, they’re still completely functional and watertight.
I’ve relocated the original fittings so that they work with the Heavy Duties Pannier frames that come with the Tenere. The gaffer tape is blanking off the holes for the original fittings, but a few rubber grommets would make a neater job. The panniers come with two keys
Price is £4,900 with Metal Mule panniers or £4,650 without them
I’m located in Rugby, about a mile away from Junction 1 of the M6
Get in touch via PM and I’ll send you my contact details
Cheers Phil

Re: For Sale - XT660Z Tenere
Thanks for complement - too much polishing, not enough riding!
Don't do Facebook and didn't know that groups existed, so thanks for that too.
Will get one of my mates to put something up on FB for me.
Best wishes,
Phil
