Re: CRF 250L for sale 2016,, 10,200 miles
yeah … it is a great bike Paul .. but I seem to have got a lot older .. overdone it trying to be young, I expect ..
The bike just seem too much for me now on really nadgery trails … the handling is great but I fear a fall, as the bike is quite heavy, comparatively ..
The idea was to use this general purpose bike to ride long distances to trail start … but with a big back pack on a 70 year oldie, the run is too gruelling at 45mph …. the bike will easily do 60m or 70 mph and runs smoothly at those speeds, but to save on fuel and tyre wear, I go slow, which is very tedious.
The plan is to sell the bike and get a good ebike
any recommendations for a good un ???

Seriously though, why not ask Thunderoad what is a fair asking price?
I'd heartily recommend a late model BetaAlp 200. Cheap as chips, light as anything, goes anywhere and rides like a mountain bike; didn't you have a go on mine up on the Epynt Ranges once?

I would think the suspension and performance, with the Specialized would be better - I had a Voodoo hardtail (not eMTB) and it was ok though
Main benefit with the Spcialised is the Brose motor, which is superb and is the best out there.................so far
