I bought this locally 6 months ago for some light trail riding having sold my X Challenge and not wanting to spend too much cash on a green laner for the winter. What a gem she is, totally reliable and a delight to ride.
1995 DR250 electric start.
Imported to the UK in 2000 with 5 former keepers in 19 years.
She is battle worn in places and carries scars, specifically a tear in the seat and small dent to the tank from the last owner (poor rider....)
The bike has a full MOT which expires 14.08.2019.
I have fitted a new front tyre, (Mitas knobblie) and the rear also has plenty of life. Pads all good and oil changed 4 months ago.
There is no service history and no mileage since 2016 when it had done 5897 miles.
The bike starts easily and is extremely reliable. I rode 50 miles of green lanes on her yesterday but alas I'm off abroad so she has to go. Offered here before dreaded Ebay at £1250.
PM me for contact details, bike is located in Ashford, Kent.

Re: For Sale-Suzuki DR250 Electric start £1250
I bought one of these as a shed for a grand. I must have spent a grand plus doing it up, everything I touched was worn out. I had bits from all over, UK. Europe, Sri lanka and Australia. Please excuse me while I go into a back room to cry. I'm really pleased with the bike, it certainly suits me. The DR250Rs was a Jap import and was eventually marketed as the DR-z250 in America and Australasian markets. Still in Production in 2019 , if it's been about since 1995, it must have a production run longer than almost any bike excluding the Honda stepthrus
