Is the laqcuer coming off the one on the left?

I note that they are Cedea--made in eastern europe somewhere--the company use CNC machined moulds, do Ferrari hoods etc--and did some trick frame guards for my old 640A. If the lacquer is coming off (assuming that they are lacquered in the first place?) then its nothing that some 1200 wet and dry won't solve and then some clear acrylic.

The laquer isn't coming off but has clouded on one, so I would recommend a rub down and relaquer...
