Just saying...the back-up in the UK is not the best, and the French seem to have made a reliable Yamaha engine rather less so.

If you don't mind a 2-stroke, a GG Pampera III might be a better bet. The importers still seem to have quite a lot of spares 'on the shelf'. I've always been able to get the bits I need in a couple of days.

Only trouble is, I think this guy buys them up

Just found 3 Scorpa T-Rides on leboncoin:

https://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/1587264868.htm/

https://www.leboncoin.fr/motos/1591056071.htm/

But just a bit more money and you could go for a Beta X-Trainer, which is also very light, nimble and small but a newer better bike all round (two stroke though...):

Good hunting, Bob.

Thanks richard , I have looked at pamperas but getting a bit old now and most of the ones I've seen have had a very hard life , plus I love 4strokes , my trials bikes are 2stroke but I prefer a 4t on trails.

Yeah, all of them at least 4.5 hours away. One's near Paris and one's near Besancon (towards Swiss border).

The one to go for is the first one, near Beziers/Narbonne. Get yourself a grandad tan on the Med coast and take back a present for yourself. I'd recommend a van though. Riding a Scorpa about 1000kms up France would not be my idea of fun.

Like Steve, if anything turns up I'll let you know.
