Giantloop or similar wanted
Re: Giantloop or similar wanted
I do not know how widely available this stuff is over here https://www.dirtsack.in/products/frogman-tail-bag
Their tail bags seem a similar type of thing to the giant loop stuff.
I managed to get a set of the frogman panniers from the bay for a very reasonable price. Apart from being bright yellow I can't really fault them. Possibly not as refined as some of the vastly more expensive options out there, but they seem to be tough enough and do what they say on the tin.
Cheers Jak

I have one of these
https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Jofama-Bag-Sma ... 808&chn=ps
I've not tried it on my EXC yet but it fit on my 950 fine and various other bikes since and I know some people have used them on EXC's so they can fit.
The don't have the same shape as the GL but they seem to conform no problem and as long as you can get the fixing points for the straps they are solid.

Excellent reply. Reminds me of something said at a party by the BBC's head of entertainment back in the 80s.diggermanbob wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 8:35 pmThat's not me Dave it's the wifedaveuprite wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 7:29 pmBob, bike looks great, but why have you climbed inside a brown bag?diggermanbob wrote: ↑Fri Jul 27, 2018 6:46 pm Mosko Moto are good Jim , lots of KTM users on the Mosko web site image.jpeg
During the introductions he said: "Meet the wife. Don't laugh"

Depending how big you want to go, remembering the subframe isn't the strongest, look at the kriega stuff. I've got the overlander 15 bags with the harness for the newer ones and it fits really well, only moves when I get the bike airborne and I think that was actually just the tail pack lifting on the way down.
