A bit off topic--but you were the previous owner of mine?--new sprag clutch, new clutch centre, springs and plates--springs shagged and a post cracked! bashplate of course, braided front brake line, powder coated frame, seat recovered, rear genuine rack, pivot pegz, renthals, charging indicator and 12v outlet plus powered garmin cradle, now new headlamp cowl (generic chinese and cheap but works well), high front guard, tool tube, fork protectors etc--the first phot over the log was last weekend. It needs the valve stem seals doing but uses no oil once started--and I have a pumper carb set up ready to go on to replace the vacuum carb (for snappier throttle response), and may well put a DR650 tank on it just for longer trips (standard mod). Its running well and getting used so the carb, tank and valve stem seals can wait . Its better than my NX250s, beta alp 200, and also slightly better than my Honda CRF230 (very underrated bike), but not as good as my WR250R for those longer trips with camping gear etc. Nice wide spaced 6 speed box and good stock suspension. The only criticism is that it can't be hustled like my Yam or a KTM due to the short wheelbase and less suspension travel--but has an excellent lock and is ideal for the nadgery stuff in Wales etc. The other issue is that when you fit a decent knobbly be aware that the SA is short and braced so you have to play with chain length and rear sprocket size a bit to get it set right--to still have adjustment but NOT foul the front corners of the SA--but it runs and grips on narrower tyres well enough (say 110, 4 inch). Hope this helps a potential purchaser(not of mine!)--and there is a good thread on ADV.(its popular in the US--and eastern europe).
