The US style (Modular Sleep System) was devised by the US army as part of its military equipment systems for ground forces. Each sleeping bag can be used separately or in combination. All of the components snap together to prevent sliding around. The 3 piece sleep system is manufactured by Tennier/Mil Tec

Features Include:

Green Patrol Sleeping Bag
This bag, when used alone is rated for temps down to 30 degrees F. It's ripstop nylon with polyester fill and is water resistant. It has a reversible double pull zipper which allows the top or bottom end to ventilate and also includes a draft overlapping flap to prevent heat loss. Includes draw string for hood.

Black Intermediate Sleeping Bag
This bag (the black fits inside the green) is rated for temps down to -10 degrees F. It has a reversible double pull zipper which allows the top or bottom end to ventilate and also includes a draft overlapping flap to prevent heat loss. It has a foot box at the bottom that contains double the insulation as the rest of the bag for more warmth. The chest collar prevents air drafts. Like the green patrol, this bag is also ripstop nylon with polyester fill and is water resistant.
Includes draw string for hood.

Black Compression Stuff Sack
For travelling with and transporting your sleep system. Compresses to one cubic foot or so . It provides six 1" wide nylon webbing straps adjusted by buckles. Includes Nylon drawcord closure with a barrel lock.
