People seem to want really high prices for their CRFs. Bearing in mind the new models have a slight (but noticeable) power increase and ABS, it's not even worth looking at 2nd hand. They seem to drift very slowly down to £3k and no less, even for 2013 models - that's 5 years old now.

id go for the newer 2017 on engine ..its not much on paper but the ecu timing exhaust cam profiles ect conspire to make it much more capable to carry the 5th and 6th gears ..it is much better on bigger roads and motorways than the older model . once lossened up they actually go quite well on motorways ..they cant be overrevved ..and in top gear they are able to bob along at or near 70mph all day ..much better than the older one in this respect..the one in the rally was quite comfy all day fully loaded at 67/68 mph ..take time to get there but deffo a better engine ..the older ones needed a 13 cog on the front and were more comfy in the low 60s ..theres a little powerband on the 2017 motors and a deffinate litle kick higher up ..6 is the magic number ..they are super tough motors and seem to lap it up ..ive done 30k on them now and have been impressed by their worka holic nature

What year (date) did the 250L get ABS ?

(I got mine new in 2016 but it's a 2015 model [with no abs] ) ?
