I still haven't seen enough regarding UK commitment to be convinced to change brands. Hearing first hanf of continuing issues with the Beta 300 2t, which doesn't help even though I am staying 4t.
There is safety in numbers and nothing wrong with KTMs (Huskys) IMHO.

Why be an orange sheep?
How dare you mr Boxer :)

The modern 2 strokes are still a pain on the road, better than they were but not as good as the 4 strokes. I used to have the older RFS 450 and it was great for trail riding, they could go when opened up but could also plod along no problem, I now have an RFS 400 and I can see why it was loved as a trail bike, it doesn't surprise you in any way but can still get a move on, the downside compared to the 450 is popping the front over obstacles at speed, the 450 just needed a bit of throttle but the 400 needs a handful.

Despite the deep stirring of Mr Boxer....

I have my eye on an '16 FE350 or maybe three '13 350 EXCs at the same dealer.

Now that's just plain greedy

:) If only.....
Austin Motorcycles near Sudbury have one highly blinged KTM in stock and two more due.

All change though.
For trail riding a 450 was suggested as more suitable and I have a '15 Husky FE 450 being transferred from the excellent Wyn Hughes in Wales to Freestyles in Sussex tomorrow.
Only been trail ridden and looks immaculate from the photos plus is a nice price for a dealer bike. I know the
I was fine trail riding my old WR450 so it seems logical to my tiny brain.

I'll report back.

FYI. Austin Motorcycles are near me. Although I haven't bought a bike from them, I have viewed a few and they do always seem like clean bikes and he seems like a genuine bloke. He just sells a few bikes from his home.

Thanks.
I've been told he takes the px's that Jim Aim doesn't want to sell through his shop - presumably the older ones, hence them being 2013.

When I was coming back to bikes, a place near me was importing lovely clean bikes from Italy and selling them from a barn on his farm.
He was well known and I was very close to getting an immaculate Honda Dominator from him. Similar situation but UK bikes.
