Re: For Sale BMW f800 GS
Well I've clearly got the price wrong here as no one has replied to this advert or a similar one on Gumtree.
Can anyone advise me on what price I should be aiming at, as this one is clearly too high?
I'd be grateful for any other suggestions as I haven't sold a bike in a long time.
Thanks

Look on ebay and bike trader UK to see bikes of similar age/mileage and that might give you a good range.

Sorry I'm not looking to buy but I didn't notice where in the country you are - maybe I just missed it, but putting the general area on the ad might help. I'm up in Scotland and for second hand bikes and cars we often end up travelling a fair way to get the right vehicle. Conversely, we've paid a bit more so that we don't have to make a 600 mile round trip. Anyway, all the best on selling your bike.

Re: For Sale BMW f800 GS
I do not think you've priced the bike incorrectly - it's just a time of year when folk are either on holiday or about to go on holiday or coming to the end of some riders "biking" season
I am biased as I've got exactly the same bike, just that mine has BM boxes on it
Don't "give" it away - Just wait for the right person to come along and take it off your hands for a sensible price

Re: For Sale BMW f800 GS
Agree with Steve T, think fairly priced given mileage, market probably slow at moment.
To get widest coverage probably need to go down ebay route.
I would also suggest detailing as many features of bike as possible (led indicators, aftermarket bashplate/Exhaust(?), ABS, full trip computer, heated grips etc) and provide some background as to type of riding done, also whether it has been garage stored etc
