Just buy the ktm/xtrig preload adjuster and grind the tab off it. Can adjust preload in under 30secs using an 8mm socket.Decco wrote:

to adjust it, its front side plastics off, exhaust silencer remove, seat off,bottom subframe/tank bolts remove, flip the tank/subframe up , then unbolt the rear shock and remove it completely to adjust it in a vice. i even had to remove the ecu. airbox temp sensor plug and the battery holder was still digging into the airbox. proper poor design.
