Have you considered the 1090R Gaz?
Getting great reviews and not much more than the Honda.

I strongly recommend to test ride the 1090r thoroughly, before parting with cash. Had the bike for a weekend and to be honest, it was the first KTM which I was disappointed of. The engine feels gutless for a 1050cc motor. It does everything you ask it, but not in a KTM way and feels more like soulless Honda :dry:

Its a cracking bike and knowing you and your mechanical skills, it will be brilliantly maintained.
