Hi all,

Looking at tents, happy to buy new but always worth an ask here first. Had my eye on the Vango Omega 350, or something similar. OEX Coyote 3 is ok but porch is a bit short for a 6'5 lump like me.

Sleeping section size around 2.15m x 2m.

Porch area big enough for 2 seated, around 1.25 - 1.5m high.

Look at the Vango Galaxy. Relatively compact and easy to erect. Large porch which is 6'5" tall.

I have a Coleman coastline 2+1.
Just depends how friendly you are with your mates. Lol.

I'm looking for the same just now.I'm planning on buying an Olpro Knightwick 3 man tunnel tent from Halfords for £90. (Argos are selling the same tent for £120) I've never heard of them before but with a 5000HH I'm thinking it should be ok.The ground sheet is 10,000HH and a Vango Omega 350 is only 6000HH.Fiberglass poles instead of aluminium though.

I have a Vango Equinox 450.
Only been up once or twice.
No idea on price, have a google and if interested make me an offer.
Cost over £200 when new.
Looks like a normal tunnel tent, with room for three in main bit
large bit in middle but in the other end is a hanging room with loads of space for one.
It looks the same size as the vango 350 tents but will sleep four.
I'm open to sensible offers.(over £150 plus postage)

I've got an Omega 350 and I wouldn't say you can sit in the porch area. Kneel yes but sitting you'd be very tight. I've got my panniers and sometimes top box in which doesn't leave much room for a higher order ape as well

I changed it for a Coleman Phad X3 which I much prefer due to its quicker setup and take down time. A little less space than the Omega but a lot more practical for my needs changing camp sites every day. If was staying in one place for a few days then I would probably take the Omega

Have a look at the Vango Omega 450 if you can find one. Should be ideal for you needs but hard to find now.
