Well the day I said would never happen has arrived. :( :( :(

Even Hugh Jackman wearing a loin cloth and hand feeding me chocolate would not cheer me up today

I'm sure he will go to another loving home and carry on his adventures! (thumbs)
At 5'5" I'd never even considered a GS!

At 5'6" and a 29" inside leg neither would I until today!

Took my 800GS for a service and was given a 1200GS that I could touch both feet - ok toes - on the ground at the same time. Which is more than I can do on my 800.

Turns out BM do a lowered chassis as well as the standard one on the 1200's from about 2010 onwards which I didn't realise and I reckon that combined with a low seat I could probably get both feet flat on the floor.

Just so happens they've got a 2010 low mileage one in stock - very tempting

I'm 5'-5" & 29" inside leg, I've sat on a 1200GS with low seat and one with low suspension but not one with both.

People are always suprised when I climb off Georgegs and realise how small I am. I hear a lot of people say how big they are and how they could not ride one but once you have knowcked two or three inches off their height they are a fab bike.
