krauser panniers and mounts F/S
How do guys, I know some of you like the older bikes so thought id stick these up, they came with the dommie but they sit too far forwards for a pillion and are a bit 90's for my tastes but they did get me out of the shit
I'm pretty sure theyre 30L but tbh I'm not sure, age related marks and a bit dirty but I will clean them, still water tight and the mounting arms have the indicators with bulbs that work, I do only have one key for them though. All locks and mounts work.
I'm open to offers on these so give me a far price and they're yours (thumbs)

Those are Krauser K2 panniers, 30 litre. Excellent panniers and very robust.
The two arms are same for all bikes and very easy to fit. You can still get fitting kits for almost any bike from Krausers. Those panniers are still being made, bought a set of the bigger 42 litre ones last year.

Daytona you've got a pm mate, don't know if you've seen it (thumbs)
Re: krauser panniers and mounts F/S
If they've got the same design of plastic hinge (bendy plastic)as used on older BMW panniers then carry a spare pair at all times. They're about a fiver a pair and you need one pair per side. They don't give any warning that they're about to split and it's literally 2 minutes to change them.
You can get them from Motobins if they're the same design.

Re: krauser panniers and mounts F/S
Fortunately they don't use the bendy plastic hinge like on the BMW panniers which break all the time. Those bendy hinges are cheap and the wise always carry spares. Those BMW panniers are also prone to falling off......
The Krauser K2 use a removable rod at the bottom of the door so it drops down horizontally and there are two retaining straps. So far I have not had any parts break. I have a few sets of these panniers as the LT came with them and then I bought another set for the RT in place of the BMW ones with the bendy hinges.
The Krauser K2 30 litre and the 42 litre are interchangeable.
[email protected] is the email address, Sabine Krauser is the contact and they are very efficient. They have parts, fitting kits etc in stock.

Re: krauser panniers and mounts F/S
I never actually lost a pannier but after having to wrap gaffer tape around a pannier when one of the so called hinges let go I always carried spares under the seat.
