'Adventurised' DR600 Djebel for Part-Ex or Sale
Not using the DR600 so am looking to sell or part-ex against an XT660Z Tenere.
Bike comes with various luggage options as pictured, or none at all, depending on requirements. Sure I don't need to ramble about how good these modern classics are, but upgrades to note are the rear brake disc (original has drum) and the rare-as-hen's-teeth luggage rack and front carrier. Kick start only, but easy when you know how. Happy to discuss delivery (I ride it to you) or collection (you come over, stay, ride back). I'm over in the van in a couple of weeks, so good time to sort something? It's the kind of bike that it's best to chat about rather than standard listing, so PM me if interested. Value to be around £1200 to £1400 depending on luggage choices. Here's a few images of different set-ups.
Few baseline details: Reg 01/04/1985. 73,931 kms (old MOT's from 2001 seem to indicate consistency), MOT Sept 2014, sorn, last oil/filter change 1200 kms ago. For a 29 years old adventure dual sport it's in exceptional condition, but not faultless of course. Only 'faults' I'm aware of is rev counter can be a bit erratic and a loose bush on one of the two footpeg bolts on the right side. Will probably need a front tyre soon. Starts first or second kick every time. I'd be happy to ride it anywhere, as it is and confident it would get me there.

Cracking Bike (thumbs)
My favourite DR by far. I have had a few over the years. The rear disc is a big help as the 600 had pretty poor braking. Just doing a rear disc conversion on my DR750 as we speak. Great old thumpers & totally bullet proof !
Good luck with the sale.

That big screen with the Dakar sticker on looks like the spare one that I had that went with my Africa twin sold to boboneleg?
Small world if it is, if it ain't its just a huge coincidence.
