A couple of years ago Vanessa went out with the intention of buying a Street Triple, it was the Hornet that made her smile & won her heart, she has never looked back & genuinely loved every minute with the bike.
The Hornet's are made in Japan, designed & built like every Honda should - superbly.
The Hornet is a light weight, agile easy to ride bike with low seat height, suitable for novice & experienced riders alike & comes with ABS & combined linked brakes (CBS) which are superb, the CBR600RR derived engine is easy going around town but goes like the clappers when opened up.
Tank range is around 200 miles.
Overall the bike is in superb condition.
Having only 1 previous owner, this is a 2008/'58 plate bike which we bought at 9 months old from a main dealer and comes with full main dealer service history up to when we bought it, since then I have serviced it every year (less than 2000 miles p/a....) and made a record of mileage & date. Mileage is 13,600.
Tyres are Bridgerstone BT021 & less than 1/3 worn, C&S are good too as are the (original) brake pads - this bike has had an easy life & not been hacked about.
The only downside is a very slight ding in the tank (see below - to the rear, right of the white warning sticker).
Tax & test have nearly a year left.
The Hornet comes with professionally fitted Accumen alarm (with 2 fobs & instructions), colour coded Honda hugger, colour coded seat cowl, Honda clock surround trim, a fly screen that works surprisingly well, crash bungs (unused! (and original engine mount bolts)), Dr Bike adjustable heated grips & a Scottoiler.
I have just serviced the bike. It starts, rides & runs perfectly with no faults.
This bike wants for nothing & comes with original Handbook, service book, log book in Vanessa's name/address, 2 remote alarm fobs, 2 working HISS keys.
