I have decided to sale my 1988 Honda XRV650 (RD03) Africa Twin The bike fairly standard, (engine and frame numbers correspond RD0350040xx) believed originally Austrian and first registered in UK 2005 (28800miles/480000 Km). The bike has now covered 42000 miles/ 70000 Km I have done about 600 miles on it. I am 4th UK owner. I have owned it since April 2011, ran it to Christmas when the tax ran out, currently SORN’d. MOT has also expired.
The bike is fitted with crashbars and aftermarket footrests (XR250).Fitted with new tyres recent front and rear pads and new standard front screen.
Rims, output shaft, motor all OK
Paintwork original now has some scratches and the tank has a small dent on the nearside-see pictures.
Comes with a CD containing digitised manuals parts lists and other assorted information plus V5 and old MOTs

vastly underated bike...some might say the original adventure bike..build quality is second to non and a huge fan club me included..spares can be a problem but not beyond a bit of France/German ebay searching most service items are available and like all Hondas parts inter fit other models

Do you have a collection of these? I've been keeping an eye on XRV as my old man is looking for one and remember you selling one back in January? I only remember as you're local to me.

Suffice to say my old man isn't looking at the moment so I'm sure whoever purchases this one will be suitably impressed :cheer:

the Jan one was owned by a friend I brought it when he wanted to sell it as it had some extras that I wanted for this AT and my Transalp. I need to reduce the number of bikes I have, so the AT goes in preference to the TA which I find more suitable for me.
