Just bough one pick it up tomorrow....GS1200 Rally with Dynamic pack, cracking deal with all of the free BMW stuff. It's my third.....they are good.

Maybe because for years they've been the adventure bike to have, but over the last couple of years there is real alternatives/challengers, the likes of the super Tenere, triumph adventurer, the new Honda as well as all the new 800ish class bikes.

Because Chewing and Farley haven't been on the telly for a while.
I was on my KTM outside a BMW dealership one day when a BMW owner came over to tell me that the KTM marketing department were crap, and BMW has sold all these bikes as a result of the TV tie-in.
I told him I was interested in motorcycling rather than marketing and didn't watch TV.
I think he went home after that
