Just a tip, I once bought an expensive new alloy bashplate, when the missus caught me with it, I explained I'd just had the old one bead blasted and has'nt it come up well! :woohoo:
Not sure if she believed me but put doubt in her mind.

Ok You're gonna enjoy this bike!!
What made it just that bit better than standard for me were :-
Fastway footpegs = Bit lower and a lot wider and just feel better.
MRA touring screen , smoked of course= takes wind pressure off your chest bit better.
1200GS handgards = Looks ace and keeps the chill off
Scott oiler = Chain lasts longer , back wheel never rusts !
Sargent seat = best mod 100% better than the OEM
Givi engine bars= cause I dont trust myself not to drop it !
F650GS engine sprocket = lowers RPM at motorway speeds by about 500 makes for much more relaxed ride and acceleration doesnt suffer that much.
Toratech oil cooler and filter protector = looks ace and helps keep all the crap off the engine.
Conti trail attack tyres = better grip and confidence inducing .
Well dont ask how much I don't want to add it up! But its not like you are spending the money on yourself is it. ? Its kind of like spending on the house isn't it? and so thats ok then B) .
You only live once ( possibly briefly unless all above purchases are handled discreetly)
