Nikwax tent vs Fabrsil Gold?

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of some early season camping and need to beef up my tent. which waterproof spray is best?

Grangers fabsil they do a std and gold which is 25% more silicone ...jyst buy 1ltr or 5
Ltrs tip into potnoddle tub...empty of coarse then apply with paint brushuse it on all sorts .
Nikwax is okay but its always failed on me...also brickseal is similar to grangers

If you use a spray, whatever you do DON'T INHALE IT.
There was a guy on this forum who did, and it sealed his lungs.
This is deadly serious. It can kill you.

I'd go with the nikwax - as far as I'm aware, the fabsil will prevent any breathability.

He posts grew more and more infrequent...I really felt for him, it all seemed too horrible...it was like he'd been gassed in WWI and was struggling on.
I still think about it nearly ever day, and certainly every time I have a spray can in my hand.

I believe Nikwax keeps the tent breathable, whereas Fabsil (or Grangers) seals the tent. So choose whether that's important to you or not.
