Morrison's are doing the LWF Range for a £1.00 rice can be picked up for 50p per pack (boil in the bag type)
Makes a tasty evening meal.
Can also use a plate to be posh.

I always carry a can of Bacon grill.
It will transform any thing and is small and has a peel off lid.
I have even mixed it chopped with porridge oats/water and curry powder. (Yum it was)
You can eat it cold/hot/bun/bagel/etc.
Chopped up can be mixed with anything and is Tasty when hungry (hits the spot)
Cheers Bill

Re: What do ABR's Cook on their stoves?
Waaaay back in 1977 on our honeymoon we went on a camping trip down the Rhine with my best man and his girlfriend on our Triumphs.
Not enough money to eat out much so the star dinner was a Fray Bentos ‘meat’ pie in a flat tin on the smallest Camping Gaz stove you’ve ever seen. Horrendous.
They did also take a large box of Cornflakes strapped on top of the tent on their top box just in case you couldn’t get them in uncivilised West Germany.
None of your big ally panniers in those days. Just a Craven top box and a pair of their tiny fibreglass panniers. We needed bolt croppers to get into the panniers when we temporarily lost the keys to the padlocks.
Talking of which, don’t put a loose can of Coke in a top box and ride from Hastings to Manchester. When it rubs the rim away it makes a hell of a mess of your spare clothes.
