What is it with Vango. I’m looking for a light small pack tent for touring and there’s a vast array of Vango tents.
They seem to have 3 or 4 identical tents for each category.
The Banshee 200, Zenith 200 & Nevis 200 for instance looked near identical to me!

Re: Vango tents
I think I’ve got a Banshee 200 that I’d sell. I got it for my Norway trip for its small pack size, its only been up once. I’ll go for a rummage at some point this evening.

Re: Vango tents
It really has only been erected once, I’ll put it up again to take more photos at some point in the next few days.
Yours for £80 if you want it...
Re: Vango tents
The Nevis is the low-end, it's 3k hydrostatic head. 3K is about the min you want for a long-lasting tent all-year round.
1k-1.5k is the cheap rubbish you'd get from Tesco.
5k is the other two (Nevis/Banshee), and for a few notes, I'd just grab one of those.
Banshee's are good tents.

Re: Vango tents
Loads of used Vango stuff fleabay. Got myself a Vango Blade Pro 200 for use on the TET in France during August.
Re: Vango tents
Vango will make a very similar tents. One will be light weight with alu poles and light alu pegs. Then there will be a slightly heavier weight material one with heavier alu pegs.
Then a heavy weight one with longer section fibre glass poles and steel pegs.
Different prices for the top tech option, mid range and basic ones.
I've got an old Spirit 200+ which would be along the lines of the Pulsar 200 pro. It's lasted very well and great for 2 peoe with a little gear for a few nights.
A Banshee 200 with a Bashee gear store and an adventure tarp if needed. Great for solo trips up to 3 nights. After that I want a little more height for comfort like the Spirit 200+.
It's really a 1 person tent with the associated gear or for 2 if you are traveling light or leave the gear in the car/bike/outside (if not using a gear store)
I also have a Turini 200. Great for 2 people and gear for more than a few days. Pita to set up and take down for one night. 'Bike garage' is a decent sized sitting area- the bikes live outside.
Personally the Spirit 200+ is the best over all package of small pack size and living space/height.
The banshee is smaller and quicker to set up. Great for one nighters.
Vango tents are good quality, but you will pay a premium for the higher spec tents.
