i need a new tent for buggered knees ?

I've had my Coleman Phad X3 for years. In bad weather it needs a Tarp.

By the time I added up the weight of the tent, tarp and poles as well as the volume of pack size it all added up to 35ltrs and 11.2 kgs

I took a punt on a Vango Tour 200, (follow on from the Turini and the Stelvio but with fibre poles

I bought the aluminium poles and some extra porch poles, swapped out the pegs for lighter ones.

The whole lot weighs 8 kgs (including my carpet and extra groundsheet and packs 25 ltrs of space

The bedroom is great and the garage is a great area. Was camping recently in strong winds and very wet rain. 4 of us sat comfortably in the garage area sheltering from the rain. 1.7m height means comfort and easy getting dressed. It also goes up quickly too

Mine is a Lone Rider Moto Tent. Great quality and I can stand up no problem.

I use a Terra Nova Laser Space 2

Great tent, single pole, very light weight and small pack size.
Plenty of room for me and my gear and room in the outer to leave any wet/damp gear.

this would be ideal for say, a quick erect tent in the national parks area .. should be no problem

I have the Etesian 4 which me and my son use and I can recommend it because there is plenty of room inside and easy to erect. I'm 6"2" and can stand up in it. The porch is very useful for sitting out of the british rain and storing your gear.
