my set up for travelling, needs firm ground though

Looks good that especially in this weather (thumbs)
Why do the poles for the hammock have the spreaders on? Would be handy drying laundry.
What does the whole set up weigh?

Where did you get the poles for the hammock mate? Picked up a couple in france for me and the Mrs which was alright in the forest up north but a pain down south.

Hammock poles are diamond shape for strength I would of thought they have a couple of guy lines from them and once the weight is on them they all tighten up and become sturdy.
The poles and lines weight very little the actual hammock is heavier, tarp hammock and rig would be as heavy as a light weight tent though
of course if you know where you will be stopping has trees, tarp and hammock (thumbs)

Spent about 3 weeks hammock camping in the last year, always managed to find a tree or two ;)
