Airbeam tents

We're looking at doing more UK and Euro bike trips with 2 bikes plus camping gear in the back of a van so I'm thinking of changing our fibreglass poled 5 man tent for an airbeam one when going away in the van.
My concerns are that in reality they are no quicker or easier to put up/pack away than a normal tent and also that they are less stable in an average wind.
Anybody got any experience or recommendations?

Thanks (thumbs)

For: convenient, can be set up by one person.

Against: expensive, heavy, only inflate one beam/rib at a time.

I've been using a Heimplanet inflatable for about four years.
Good points:- Quick erect - All the beams are interconnected (can be isolated)comparable with a Khyam. Very stable in high winds. High build quality with lots of little extras, roof loft, storage pockets.
Bad points:- Bulky for bike touring. Small porch. Takes a while (and a wrestle)to pack away.
