Having a bit of a tent fetish, I have two pseudo geodesics, a Vango Halo 300 and Vaude Mk3, quite similar really, but like them both, though the Vaude is easier to put up. Love tent threads :)
Enfield Himalayan... apparently they're Marmite... not keen on Marmite, but like Vegemite

Tents are as we all agree are an individual choice and it can take a while to find the right one. I have a Tepee, Tunnel Geo etc etc.... For me the Tepee was fine for base camping but tried to use it on a 3 week trip, found that as it rained a lot of the time I was left sitting inside unable to see out as you cannot leave the door open, however I could stand up inside. Tunnels took longer to break camp (Vango Omega) and relied on pegs for support, Banshee was too small when on long trips. Finally settled on a 2 man Geo (REI Half dome) which is very light and lots of space and used a fly sheet to create a porch. Thus when raining you can still be outside but sheltered. Will be moving the other tents on as this solution, after so much trial and error (40+ years and too many tents) would seem to suit my needs and style of travelling.

What about the Khyam Igloo/Highlander & Biker tents? They used to be very popular. Very quick to put up/take down, and reasonable size inside. I think they were taken over a while ago, but they're back now, I believe.

dave.
I can imagine they are poo.
Used to have a proper Lavvo tent in 6-8 man size and used it for family camping.
Sold it after 2 trips. They look the dogs danglies, are relatively easy to erect,
lightweight, good ventilation, and you can even have a fireplace inside.
However they are the opposite of a tardis and take up a large footprint. The only place
you can stand is in the middle, and tent height reduces drastically the further away from
the centre. We then bought a 4-6 man tunnel tent that you could stand in the entire
tent. It had a smaller footprint, weighed about the same, and had a huge amount of
space compared to the lavvo. There is a big difference between a 24m2 tent where you
can only stand in about 2m2 and a 16m2 tent that you can stand in 14m2.
