Steve my missus has a helinox cot one as she previously struggled with air mattress. The build quality and solid feel is great. Only complaint is being off the ground cold air can get under it. However when it's hot no bother.

I have a friend who has a helinox- he is 18 stone..it holds his weight.
While my wife and I froze, using thermarests..he did not.

I use a self inflating mat on the cot and didn't suffer with the cold from below and have also got the cot warmer that reflects heat back changing it from 1 season giving you more versatility Devon john runs a similar set up with a quality bag and never gets cold either

You get the cold effect from an air bed as well

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111750101351
I bought this one. Iv used once for a two night winter camp in Snowdon and with my thermarest mat on top it was warm and comfortable. I'm 6ft3 and pushing 17stone and it held me find. It is bit of a pain to put up 10 15 mins with cold hands but I think it's worth it for a better nights sleep.
