For dirt biking i have a pair sidi crossfires (great boots)
For winter and cold wet days i have some zip up waterproof (ish) boots
I also have some sidi race rep boots left over when i rode sportsbikes.
but in summertime the winter ones are too hot. the crossfires are to hardcore and the race rep boots are too tight now on the left foot (crunched several times when racing) and they are also too slippery when on maneuvering the tenere.
so i need some nice lightweight boots with good thick grippy soles and ok to walk in once i'm off the bike. a bit of ankle protection as well. not too pricey so don't say sidi adventure boots cos i'm going to spend 100's on another pair of boots
any ideas

I've not tried them myself, but Altbergs sound like they might fit the bill for you. They also have a factory shop and might be worth approaching about buying 2 different sizes of boot at the same time.

Hi mate..
I use Magnum elite with a thermal insert all year has sympatec linning..never leaked even standing in streams and has good grippy sole-although I still fall over .
very supple and great to walk in with good angle protection..just use the added shine protectors that I wear..
