Just posted a thread about a sleeping quilt and it made me do a quick calculation of all the camping gear I own. The list is as follows
5 sleeping bags
4 tents
3 sleeping mats
8 cookers
5 rucksacks
3 mobile power units
All of the above are mine alone and the list doesn't include stuff I bought for the other half. I think I have a problem.
OK fellow gear freaks lets see your lists.

That's some list Dubber !
If you get cold you could always use more sleeping bags and with that many mats you won't feel any stones !
When breakfast is ready with all your cookers give us a shout
We'll be in your spare tents matey

Re: camping equipment addict
These are just mine for bike use & not what we have when we use the car.
5 Sleeping Bags
6 Tents
3 Air/Mat Beds
4 Cookers
3 Rucksacks
2 Tarps
5 Lightweight Chairs.
3 Headlights
More importantly what don't I need
2 Sleeping Bags (have a camo goretex bivi)
1 Air/Mat Bed
4 Tents
2 Cookers
4 Lightweight chairs
2 headlights
Problem with this stuff is that it's worth next to nothing s/h so it just clutters.

Give it away for the price of postage, might really help someone out. I've given 2 tents awaypicos mestizo wrote:These are just mine for bike use & not what we have when we use the car.

Re: camping equipment addict
If I counted things that go when we use the car I wouldn't know where to start because my wife is obsessed with buying new tents and sleeping bags if she sees something she thinks will be better than whatever she already has and then she doesn't sell the old one :pinch:
Probably the best thing we've bought in the last couple of years is a trailer tent that has 2 double beds in it and a proper fridge. We take it to race meetings plus use it for occasional weekends away with our eldest granddaughter and it beats the hell out of normal camping.
We picked up one of these when it was 3 years old and got an awning that doubles the size plus a load of extra bit's and pieces for £3k when a friend decided to trade it in for a larger one and let us have it for the trade in price.

5 Tents
8 Chairs 1 table
1 Cooker (its a mini Trangia, why would I need anything else?)
2 Sets camp kitchen one tiny, one huge.
2 Camping mats
Unknown number of backpacks, over 10 for sure.
Unknown number of torches, they are everywhere.
1 Penknife
1 Leatherman
I live along so it really is all mine too. Now I've written it down its clear I need to sell some...
