Recommend me a Rucksack

Any recommendations for a smallish rucksack, just big enough to fit a change of clothes and some sarnies in that's comfy for doing some mileage.

There was a time when I could walk into a shop make a decision and walk out with what I had gone in for. but in this age of online shopping and everything being reviewed I feel kind of forced to buy positive rated best buy stuff that I spend longer researching than using!

So yeah, any rucksack recommendations, I know nowt about them!

I got one of these a few months back.

Its great on the bike, comes with a waterproof cover & has space for a hydration pack.

Fits in a change of kecks & some jam buttys too.

Tip for rucksacks. Pop into your local pet supplies and ask for an empty plastic bag the food arrives in. Its great as a liner, 100% waterproof and usually comes free. Been using them for years.

I got the R15 as I just wanted a smallish backpack that I can use to carry some tools / clothes etc when trail riding.
Has room for a Bladder, adaptable by being able to attach a US5 or US10, It's waterproof with seam sealed zips.

The Quadlock system works really well and takes the weight off your shoulders and distributes it evenly.

Worth the money as you get 10 years warranty!

Kriega is good kit but you are very much paying for a name. There's so many good makes of small rucksacks now. I'd buy something like one of the camelback variety (I know, just as expensive) and use a waterproof liner as hinted earlier.

You can get some pretty good quality cheapie Karrimor versions from the likes of sports direct. Cheap and maybe not the most comfortable of shoulder/back straps but that's not really a concern if over bike kit.

The question I'd be asking is what do you NEED to carry in it and size it accordingly. Otherwise, you will end up filling it with kit you don't need.
