On the other hand...being lower is far easier for cooking. No need for bending down to stir your boil in the bag or whatever.
Over the years I've had both high and low chairs.....Low are much more "Camping" friendly!

I use one of these.
Very comfortable, lightweightish and lays nicely scross the back of the bike.
I think mine has alloy frame though.
