Whats the most important bit of kit you carry?

Tents, Sleeping Bags, Oxygen Chambers...that kinda stuff

Of course, you could say that with experience your trip will be less of an adventure but I think most people would prefer to have the benefit of experience when trying to fix a puncture at the roadside, in the dark, in the rain. :(
the problem with experience is that at some point you will have had to go out without it....

the right mindset is essential tho...
