Anybody got one of these you just take it out of the bag spread it on the floor and pull the frame thing up , suitable 3 season tent with a4000hh, seems to get a good rating what you people think

Slumit Cub 2 flashframe pitch

Post by Bigdavesmate »

I used a cub for 6 weeks around the Baltic countries, Finland and Norway. It’s so simple to pitch and pack up. The only down side is that they don’t fair well in very high winds particularly the bigger ones (the Gobi and Grizzly which I own both). I know… don’t judge me I’m seeking help with my tent addiction

i have the grizzly and i found it ok in windy conditions. it may struggle in a gale. i like it. i find the only reason i would not buy one again is drying it out. with the outer frame you cant just throw it over the washing line to dry. i have to pitch it up on a dry day.
