Yep, nothing wrong with decathlon gear, I've got one of there bags, nice and large, packs small, full length zip.....excellent value for moneycatcitrus wrote: ↑Tue Jul 17, 2018 6:53 pm I tried an Aldi one on my recent trip to the Dordogne--and again it leaked down. In contrast I have a 4 season down bag from China which is perfect and doesn't leak--it has a much closer fabric weave!. I ended up binning mine in France and buying a synthetic one from Decathlon-a bit more expensive but Decathlon produce some great value kit--bigger, same season rating, packs just as small (nearly!), has zips both sides--AND is machine washable.

I've tried one on a few trips this year. It's not warm enough to even describe it as a two season bag and I don't normally feel the cold. It also looks like I've been strangling chickens during the night.
