Trousers with leg pockets like cargo pants recommendation?

Post by redbikejohn »

The old HG pants are past their best and the mrs is pressing for xmas ideas so I'm looking at a new pair of textile trousers. I prefer the cargo style baggy pants as I commute a lot and like having pockets on my legs to stuff things in. These need to billow out so they dont reduce space in leg when full of crap. Any recommendations?

Have you looked at the builders joiners types sure they do something that's suitable... Kevlar would be great..

I bought some berring pants that a have cargo pockets one side. From Infinity motorcycles,
They are waterproof made from their equivalent gortex. (Out at moment can't double check) I have them good so far if a bit heavy even without the thermal liner, definitely more of a winter pant but does come with vents above the knee.
£250odd if memory serves.

I was recently commuting daily to the hospital in all sorts of weather and they stood up well. But in the end I went back to my jeans with the waterproof throw over trousers from Richa.

I looked at and tried on the rev-it offtrack trousers yesterday they had cargo pockets only. For your information I'm a light build, with the 2 layers zipped in I would not call them baggy. I was wearing touring type boots, trousers, that go over mx boots properly done up at the bottom was one of my main properties not sure that these would, shop could neither confirm or loan me a pair of mx boots to check.

Have a look at the Motorrad Cargo pants. The bottom unzips to turn them into shorts and about £220 I believe.

Black Tag , waterproof cargo pants, texsport. I've used both for all my trips. About 8000 miles a year.

If you don’t mind having the triumph branding take a look at triumph outlet online, they have £190 textile trousers for £40... limited sizes and colours but if you don’t care about those things there are bargains to be had.
