Uvex Enduro Helmet (dual sport)

I've had Uvex snowboard and MX goggles and they are quite possibly the best I've had.
Saw this helmet a year or so ago when it came out and it appeared to have good reviews.

Not after paying £300+ pounds for a TourX or hornet at the moment but my favourite helmet feels looseish now and my Kini Redbull helmet has never really felt broken in and comfy on my head.
After a dual sport but can support goggles helmet
Stealth black is the way to go B)

I bought one about 9 months ago in a rather fetching black and orange and it has proved to be very comfortable and well made. The only issue I've had of late is the visor doesn't always snap down so I then have to take it off and re-fit it. Its not a biggy but if it happens and you're on the motorway (not often) it can bug me until I stop at the services. Probably wouldn't notice it on A and B roads.

Used it for my trip to Malta and back this summer.

I have seen this helmet and like the look of it.

However I will not buy a helmet with out trying it, I don't know a supplier in Bristol at present. I know the Shoei DS Hornet fits me well but is expnsive.

At the entry end of the sepctrum I can recomend the Airoh S4 - Comfortable but a little noisy.

Place near me in HInckley is typically out of stock.
FMFox, seen the Airoh, but not keen on the overly long chin pieces on their helmets.

I had an airoh and it was the most uncomfortable lid ive ever owned, ive been looking at the uvex as an alternative to the tour x3 but after having an tour x they are hard to beat imo,

ive currently got the nitro dual lid and tbh for the price £80 its not bad

AFX make two very good dual sport helmets, i say two because they have just released a new model. Both just a little over 100 pounds, short chin piece and goggle friendly, with easily removable visor. Also available in a wide range of colour schemes, including black.

Moto central are getting a medium and large in for me to try so roll on next weekend

The tour x I just didn't find comfortable, medium too small , large too big.
The Hornet was perfect, but I also need new jacket , trousers and errr bike :laugh:

Just to throw another into the mix, did you see Alun's at the Midland rally? I believe it was an X Lite, but had an inner sun visor, which is a much welcomed first in the ADV style of lid.

Agree with you Mark, thought it was a nice bit of kit, especially with the sun visor. But they cost about the same as the Tour X or Hornet

Have a look at the BMW Enduro, bit cheaper and a good lid, and takes goggles.
