Helmet advice

Post by Shalom Rider »

I need a new helmet, I’ve had my LS2 FF370 for over 5 years.

Should I go to a shop or buy online?

Where is the best place to buy online?

Never buy a helmet without trying it on, and once you have done that, then haggle with the shop you are in and buy it from them instead of taking advantage of them to get a cheaper deal online.

If you abuse your local bike shop, next time you need to try a helmet on it will be shut because people buy online.

Yes, and order it while you are still in the shop, using your smartphone. It will make the guy running the shop feel really good about you.

Don't forget to piss on the doorhandle on the way out.

You can`t see anything wrong with that ? Do you ask the guy for a quick ride on his wife while you`re there?

This is why bike shops go bust.

Last time I checked, high street shopping was down and online up. It's a trend dude, get on board with the 21st century.

Last person I met ordered 3 different helmets from sports bike shop, one Arai, shoei and nexxt. Tried them all whilst at home for a few hours. Kept the one she preferred and sent the others back. Got her money back just as quickly. It's not rocket science is it ;)

I get that "dude" I use online shopping every day.
Your friend ordered the helmets and sent back the ones not wanted,, thats fine.

Going into a shop, trying on their display helmets and then buying it online cheaper from someone with no overheads or staffing, and who won`t be open on a Saturday when you need new plugs or pads, is a pretty shitty way of doing things.

It`s not rocket science , is it ? dude.
