As mentioned I use Marino wool socks
Whem touring I carry this, spraying it into the boots at the end of every day

I ended up buying 3 pair of bamboo socks for £6 from Boundary Mill they work for me. Can’t remember the brand.

My mate Desmo, whi happens to know a thing or two about footwear, reckons that it’ll be the boot that smells.
The build up of sweat and dirt promotes bacteria that smells....I think that’s what he said.
Anyway, the boots need cleaning on the inside and new foot beds would help too.
He might be along to correct me/add to my attempt at help.
