Greetings,

I wonder do any of you folks suffer with painful feet due to Raynaud's syndrome?

If so then I am looking for practical real life advice on how you cope and what 'accessories' you might wear such as heated socks or boot liners, both for simple day to day activities and trail riding rather than distance touring motorcycling.

I have been looking 'online' and Keis heated socks look good but in real life how do you think they perform, are they practical for physical outdoor work use too? How about Keis boot liners instead?

It is not I who suffer but I want to try and buy something as a present for a sufferer who is having a bad winter this year

Had some boot inner soles from Keis, when they worked they were good and toasty.

Problems with connectors and the robustness of the filaments in the sole, too easily broken by simple walking or small bits of debris (Grit) that worked its way in and broke the filaments.

Have you seen the one use heating pads, Decathlon sell them, couple of pounds for a pair, that supposedly last 5 hours.

been using keis heated socks for 5/6 years found them to be ace ..heat around the toes and all the way up the shin
i suffer from bad pain from cold and use em off road too ..and it really helped me when it wet and cold ..they armt to hot but as soon as you pull the plug you soon realise how good they are

the other stuff that really has helped me is this stuff ..since ive started using it post ride attacks have reduced dramatically .. i use it most cold days and every riding day off road

don't know if any help .. but I always try to buy boots one size bigger,
and use a combination of socks ..

I did see a post recently suggesting the use of those cheap Chinese grip warmer filaments as boot warmers sat between socks obviously.

Aldi do heated inserts every now and then.

One question do heated insoles have support or are they all about keeping your feet warm only?

I've started having a bit of a problem with digits going numb over the last year or 2, too much abuse to my hands and freezing conditions on wet feet, but it certainly looks like raynuads kicking in as it looks like I've lost the majority of the blood flow to them, they're stone cold, completely numb and hurt like the proverbial when they warm up. its that or at some point I got mild frostbite/exposure, which is still a possibility tbf

Anyway, I've started using gortex socks when I'm off road, they stay really warm until you put them on the next day and they seem to have helped a lot. I looked at the heated socks and gloves but I have a tendency to rather ungracefully dismount my bikes, normally at speed so I didn't know how the connectors would fair in the long run
