Hi Jak.
Take a look at the Rev'it Horizon II range. Laminated outer, removable thermal lining, thigh vents. My only issue it that the tousers are quite high waisted and have a high gusset behind the fly. Great for waterproofing but a bit of an issue when you need a pee. Never tried the jacket but I've had the trousers since the summer and I think they're good value and seem to do the job. I've used Halvarssons for years and I've been impressed, but this is solid kit too. The trousers are not well ventilated enough for hot summer use, for that I use Klim stuff. Eye wateringly expensive but it is good.
Just along for the ride.

It may not be elegant but on filthy trail riding days I wear armour and whatever layers are necessary and then RAF Foul Weather jacket and trousers. £45 for the pair, unused, from a surplus shop.
