i know quite a few on here have sidi adv boots, i have a concern with the rate of wear on the toe area on both boots.
gear change has worn part way through, checked the bike and no rough areas even have taped them up and noticed this morning the right boot is showing signs of wear,
this carnt be right, anyone else have this problem

Not had any issue of wear, myself.

No problem with mine , the boots have a gear change pad on them , has yours worn through that ?

Hi, had mine 5 years now and many miles. They had gear lever pads from new. Had them resoled last year at nearly 100 quid but worth it. I look after them regularly waxing etc. Uppers still look good apart from rock scratches/cuts, also still waterproof. Brilliant boots, well worth the initial outlay. Nige.

Ha, just remembered, before I could buy such boots we used to put a section of inner tube rubber around the riding boots on the gear change side. This protected the leather uppers nicely from lever marks. Back in the day!
