Whats the best vented, waterproof, armoured kecks? (Trousers)

Post by nethen1 » Tue Apr 05, 2016 10:53 pm

I fancy some pants.
Must be waterproof but very well vented for summer trails.
And some armour would be nice too...

Any recommendations ?

If you're going to be using them off road then I'd go for a pair of the KTM brand Hydroteq trousers.

http://www.ktm4u.co.uk/ktm-powerwear/of ... oteq-pants

They're totally waterproof, breathable, have reasonable vents and a bit of padding but not what I'd call proper armour.

So its between these

Klim Latitude Pant £213.96
KTM hydroteq-pants £122.93
Icon Raiden DKR pants £159.00

Then theres these KTM RALLY PANTS £120 .....

Klim ... i know the jackets are ace compared to my RST.
The KTM ones Minkyhead has them and they work fine by all accounts.

Icon Raiden... never seen them but they look great.

KTM ones look like they'd win on price alone. But the Klim at £213 is a great price but are they worth even a £100 more?
