Help, my leathers have shrunk

Post by PaulinBont »

Got my old comfy Stein leather jeans out for the winter and they've shrunk since last year :(

Quick spin down to MandP to get a pair of simple, plain black , comfy leathers only to find that they only sell ones out of the Power Ranger/Mutant Turtle/Ninja Warrior wardrobe, or just as bad, flared 'cruiser' ones .

Any suggestions for ones without garish lettering (advertising), knee sliders etc.

I tend to wear a textile jacket and Kevlar cargoes in the summer unless I'm touring in which case the textile jacket/leather jeans combo is my preferred rig.

I bought a nice pair of Richa in JT's recently. Plain black, with knee protection, and the Richa name embossed on the side. I've taken the knee protectors out because it does limit your movement. But there is plenty of padding there. Nice quality, and you can barter with them. They knocked a bit off. Paid £106.

I got a pair of Dainese leather trousers - very comfortable - calf zips at the rear, so they don't chafe on your ankles - extra zip & material so you can wear them under or over your boots - no knee sliders or other fancy stuff (thumbs)

Is Bikers gearbox still going? Take a look in Back Street Hero's magazine.
