Akito desert suit or RST?

Just wondered what peoples opinions are on the akito desert suit?
And the rst desert suit?
Or any recomendations, looking for comfort for distance riding (on road)
abroad... B)

ive ordered my wolf titanium nj 2100 and 2105 jacket and trousers for the price they are most comfy and waterproof plenty of pockets etc with akito youll spend so much time sending them back for repairs or replcement rst never had but wifey loves her richa kit hope this helps j :sick:

I have the leather wolf titanium 2 piece, best leathers i've ever had for comfort.. :cheer:
Was fancing some textiles just not sure which ones.. :unsure:

thats what im ordering the textile set. have tried a few sets on of varias makes and types. but these have been my favourite and my local bike shop have ordered them for me after trying somwherelse... and made a good price phew...

The misus has the akito suit and yes it's cheap was ok at first but 2 years in with not that many miles it's not so good.

I bought the Akito suit for my trip to Malta last year. Cheap and good enough for the very high temperatures but it won't last forever, I wouldn't fancy a big off wearing it and you need to try one on as the sizing was a bit odd ( or maybe that's just me ) :laugh:

never had an rst jacket or pants but i did have apair of gloves for afew years and never let water in , try looking at HELD clothing their very good without the daft price

The Akito is a cheap suit so what do you expect....... that was the reply form the sale s rep from their HQ when I asked .

Not the reply I was expecting when the pants fell apart after just 12 months. I was not offered a refund, credit note or a sorry. The seams came apart where the cloth meets the plastic panels. Made in China....... SNM

I therefore can not advise one to buy them.sir.

So far the jacket is OK, but once again the plastic pads are looking tatty.

Like malta family has friends out there, but my favourite place is Gozo, did you go there on your bike?
