When I've gone skiing, I've often worn inner-liner gloves....when I'm riding pillion I wear these liners - and don't feel the wind/cold as much (I always suffer from cold hands and feet! ) I'm not sure, but I think they are silk, which seems odd that such a light fabric makes all the difference....

Natural Wicking material is silk.

I have a theory that wearing lots of layers so the body is warm, makes it perspire, and as hands feet, nose and ears are not covered with any/as many layers makes them feel even colder....like being naked in the bathroom, reasonably warm, getting into a hot bath and presto, cold hands! (until you immerse them too).
