Hi folks,
I have a Garmin 395, has anyone got one of these they use for off road? I’m travelling to Morocco next year and wondered if it’s of any use.. before forking out on something else.
Cheers in advance.

If you can? Get the olaf morroc map installed and showing on screen it will be fine.. I've recently got a 595 and it can do things it's not supposed to like load and show topo maps.. It converts tracks to routes but they follow the track... As a 75% road sat nav its great but no Montana for sure..
Practise in UK first to see if it does what you want.. Lots of trails are being tarmac covered in morroc anyway supposedly..

Or maybe just buy a cheap etrex 20 and get a holder 100 quid tops then sell on your return.. You won't loose much on one trip.. Small screens but at trail speeds it's fine alongside a zumo..
