Hi,
I just bought a cheap portable compressor and stripped the plastic case off it so its small and compact. usually it just needs a few screws removing and you have a stripped down (very compact) unit that does the same job but with no frills.

Removing the case can compromise the structural integrity of the unit. There have been reports of people doing this and then having unit explode.
