Adding all that alloy and steel to your CRF with the associated weight and drag will upset all your expertly calculated gearing predictions.

I hope the Cree lights will be more illuminating than my calculations

They have high, low and flashing settings .
There is a mod on YouTube for some of the makes of lamp that have flashing to remove it but this only works on some makes

I bought a set of these and they are great. Nice wide, but flat beam, as a fog light beam, so no dazzle.
There's another listing with a wiring loom and switch. Arrived a day later.

them arrive already already ..
neater and smaller and lighter than I thought
which is good
£5 each cant be bad
(as long as they work)
mine also arrived on Saturday, so with a couple days off Monday and Tuesday, I set about giving the old girl some tlc in the form of valve checks, oil and filters etc etc etc.
also took the opportunity to fit and fettle the lights....

not had time to test them in anger yet, just with garage door closed and lights off...... definite improvement over the stock candle.
will update once they've been given a proper road/trail test. but like you say, fiver each can't be sniffed at if they work, and I ordered 4 so have 2 spare that could end up on the bike as well.
